1. The wife that wins all arguments with her husband is not wise. The home is not a law court.
2. The wife that uses sex as a weapon in the home - placing embargo, going to bed in jeans shorts and trousers -lacks wisdom.
3. The wife that uses the modern trends and laws of "women's rights" to insult or ridicule her husband

CYON,OGBA: OUR VISION

Every Wednesday: 7 - 9pm

(i) To create a deepened atmosphere of Spiritual & Exciting Social Interaction amongst Youths/Young Adults from within & outside our Community. (Parish)

(ii) To get the youths to be actively involved hence sustaining a more formidable Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON)) in our Parish and every community.

(iii) To make the youths more acquainted with the Great teachings of the Catholic Church, under the capable direction of our source book... YOUCAT, which translates the church teachings into the Language of the younger minds.

(iv) To enrich the youths with diverse information and also gainfully empower them through the introduction of business opportunities, promotional job fairs and creation of workshops.

Message from the Youth Coach - Rev. Fr. Joseph Nwokeforo

“…….I thank you all for your contributions. It is really not about who takes the credit, every one of you (everybody) is an asset and has something to offer to the world. Let us all have our minds set on the bigger picture. We are building a system and it has to be with you and young minds alike that will keep the vision alive when I am not here. A time will come when I will only provide support by proxy. There will always be youths in the church at all ages, I believe that in carrying everyone along, we will be able to leave a good legacy behind and much more discover younger minds who will carry on when some of you get married, relocate or become too engaged with other tasks….”

Get busy in the Lord’s vineyard because no good deed goes unrewarded.

YOUCAT MINISTRIES

Our desire is to get the entire youths of this church integrated and committed to
this course. This unity is our strength.
Join us and be of service through any of the ministries that help facilitates our
activities.

* Youth Chaplaincy Ministry - This is the administrative board of YOUCAT and
comprises of a group of youths selected by the youth coach to help manage and
conduct affairs.

* Praise and Worship Ministry - Here
we have a team of gifted youths who have a passion for singing. They enrich our
souls with gospel music during each of our outings.

* Dance and Drama Ministry: This ministry comprises of a bunch of youths
with talent in acting and dancing including choreography. These talents they have utilized in service to God. There is never a dull moment on YOUCAT with
this team.

* Prayer and Bible Study Ministry – Here we have the spiritual engine and power house of YOUCAT. The ministry consist of youths who continually
give in to prayers and study of the word of God for a deeper understanding.

* Hospitality Ministry - The
hospitality ministry is in charge of organization and welfare during each YOUCAT programme. They serve as ushers, decorators, welfare members and so on.
“….Your welfare during the program is their priority…”

* Information Technology (IT) Ministry: Here we have the IT brainbox and comprises of youths who manage the technical affairs of YOUCAT and also perform, manage and operate online platforms. They will use their talents in helping to ensure that YOUCAT goes paperless and things work out fine technologically within and outside the shores of the YOUCAT program.
